Moulton Lions Club President Keith Ligon presents Lawrence County Library Director Rex Bain with a $500 check, which will go toward purchasing large print and audio books for the library.

Lions Club President Keith Ligon presented library director Rex Bain with a check for $500 last Wednesday to purchase audio and large print books for the visually impaired.

“You always want to increase the books available for the visually impaired,” Bain said. “We don’t get a lot of money because of cuts over the years, so anything that helps us expand that section is a benefit to the entire community.”

“We always appreciate the community and civic clubs when they are able to make a donation,” Bain said. “It helps the community to help us spend money and get things the community needs.”
