Ex-servicemen organise eye donation camp – The Times of India
AURANGABAD: Considering the cold response towards eye donation and increasing requirement of corneas, ex-servicemen of the Services Preparatory Institute have decided to organise an eye donation camp on Saturday at SPI Lawn, N-12, Cidco.
He said, “After reading about the poor response from citizens towards eye donation we decided to hold a camp and educate people and also mark the celebrations of the 66th Republic Day.”
He said, “The Government Medical College and hospital (GMCH) dean Chhaya Diwan, head of GMCH eye department Bhaskar Khaire and the GMCH deputy medical superintendent Avinash Magre will be sensitising the people.”
