Organ Donor Registry Drive set for campuses – Press-Republican: News

People will have the opportunity to register as organ donors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the main lobby of the Moore Building at Clinton Community College and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Angell College Center, SUNY Plattsburgh.

 

Anthony Girard and Haani Quidsi, seniors at Plattsburgh High School and members of its National Honor Society, are holding the drive with assistance from the Center for Donation & Transplant and cooperation from Project HELP.

 

Those who have already enrolled to be a donor through DMV before July 22, 2008, should note that the words “ORGAN DONOR” on your DMV photo document indicates intent not consent. To consent to be a donor, you must re-enroll in the Donate Life consent registry.
