Vernon woman arrested for stealing visually impaired man’s car: police | FOX CT

Laura Lee Michaud, 33, of Rockville, is being charged with larceny in the third degree, false statement in the second degree, forgery in the second degree and motor vehicle certificate fraud.

Michaud allegedly stole the  vehicle of a visually impaired acquaintance and fraudulently signed over the title and other paperwork to herself. She then registered the car with the DMV. The findings were the result of an eight-month investigation.
