11 films from Drishti – a Campaign to promote Cornea donation/ Eye Donation spearheaded by Antardrishti got selected for 5th Kolkata International Children Film Festival. All the films promoting  cornea donation and eye care awareness. Kudos to Nivedita Majumdar, Kolkata based independent film maker and winner Drishti 2011 Golden Eye Award in short film category for successfully coordinating with organiser of 5th Kolkata International Children Film Festival.

Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival (KICFF)
Since the year of 2011, Shishu Kishore Akademi has been organizing the “Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival” (KICFF). In this festival, along with indigenous films, a large number of foreign films of different countries are screened simultaneously in several popular auditoria of Kolkata in order to acquaint our children with contemporary as well as classical films made for them. Last year, about 170 films of different categories were showcased during the festival and thousands of children along with their guardians watched with joy. This year Shishu Kishore Akademi is going to organize the ‘4th Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival at nine venues ( Nandan-I, Nandan-II, Nandan-III, Rabindra Sadan, Sisir Mancha, Ahindra Mancha, Rabindra Tirtha, Star and Lalan Mancha in Kolkata.
