Eye clinic at Royal Liverpool Hospital temporarily evacuated after man behaving suspiciously – Liverpool Echo

 

The hospital said a very small number of patients’ had their appointments cancelled because of the incident and that they had been offered appointments this week.

A 79-year-old man who wishes to remain unnamed was sitting in the St. Paul’s waiting room at the time and told the ECHO that hospital staff ‘‘handled themselves absolutely superbly,’’ adding that the response was ‘‘very well rehearsed.’’
