STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Authorities are probing the cause of death of a 32-year-old Castleton Corners woman who was dropped off, already dead, at a borough emergency room last week.
Law enforcement sources tell the Advance that Ms. Vale had no outward signs of trauma, and that investigators are looking into the possibility that she had overdosed, based in part on her past criminal history, which includes several drug-related arrests.
