Job description
State-of-the-art Retina practice seeking highly intelligent, professional, motivated individual for administrator position in order to position the practice for further expansion and future growth. This individual is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions for the practice as well as planning and executing long-term strategies for growth.
Oversight includes ensuring that office policies, procedures, and plans are executed in a smooth and expeditious manner; performing financial analysis and reports, insurance network administration, marketing efforts, and personnel management duties. Through all functions, the tops goals for the administrator will be to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care, as well as to spearhead further growth of the practice.
Candidates must have administrative experience in Ophthalmology, and such experience in a Retina practice is strongly preferred. Knowledge and skills in areas of accounting, finance, marketing, information technology, billing/coding, business administration are required. Minimum 4-year bachelor’s degree required, but additional graduate degrees in business administration or healthcare management considered a plus.
The practice aims to offer superb, cutting edge treatment of patients with medical and surgical retinal diseases, and staff are expected to demonstrate the highest level of excellence and professionalism. The practice utilizes electronic medical records, and electronic practice management system, providing a smooth, efficient, and modern office environment.
Compensation and benefits are commensurate with experience.
