Looking for a dynamic RN to join our Eye Center team and work in the Perianesthesia setting of our specialty Eye Surgery unit within Fairview Southdale hospital. We have a very fast paced, state of the art eye surgery center that averages about 4,500 surgeries per year. Strong customer service skills and focus on patient experience is a top priority and is necessary to be successful in this position. We do a wide variety of eye surgeries and serve patients from age 3yrs. up to adult. Our surgeons are a very important part of the team and we have excellent relationships with them. The nursing team, other health care workers, and volunteers have a strong sense of customer service and supporting each other for the best patient care. This position will include orientation needed to be successful on our team and could possibly include weekends, night and holiday call rotation. Options to orient in our Same Day Surgery department and main PACU are available as well.
Must have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service and create an exceptional patient experience for our patients and their guests.
Must have excellent communication skills and the desire to be part of a healthy team. Excellent team working/building skills required.
